Lanes Hotel is a renovated old rectory in the beautiful south Somerset village of West Coker, just on the outskirts of the busy town of Yeovil. The traditional main house has been added to with a spacious modern interior, open spaces, and lots of contemporary glass and furnishings.
Lanes was granted a full civil ceremony licence in September 2015 which enables a full service from ceremony to wedding breakfast and then onto evening celebrations. There is a capacity of 100 for day guests and up to 400 in the evening. The expansive lobby area welcomes you in with a baby grand piano taking pride of place.
The main house has 10 bedrooms including a penthouse bridal suite. The hotel also has an extension block containing 16 bedrooms, spa facilities and a treatment room. A further addition provides 3 two bedroom apartments. One of the main treasures of Lanes is the stunningly picturesque grounds which are perfect for photographs. Walk through the corridor of trees to the peaceful stream, maybe venture cross the bridge to visit the three friendly goats.
Lanes has a fully dedicated front of house team who will endeavour to deliver your every wish. The kitchen team is lead by talented head Chef Stephen Clayton. Specific dietary requirements pose no problem. There is an experienced onsite wedding coordinator, Corinne Shayler who works with couples throughout planning to create a bespoke package for the perfect day. There are options of exclusive or non-exclusive use.
