About Little Quarme
Licensed for indoor and outdoor weddings, Little Quarme has 17 acres of gardens, grounds, and fields with cottages for up to 22 people and over 80 further people within 1 mile. Our marquee lawn has spectacular views of the Quarme valley while our wedding barn can seat 50 people, and we can host around 100 in total. As a DIY venue, you have complete flexibility and control over your special day - no two weddings are the same here. Daytime ceremonies start at just £300.
Little Quarme is a beautiful outdoor wedding venue in Exmoor National Park offering you the freedom and flexibility to design your own perfect wedding. Probably relaxed and informal; perhaps embracing a festival vibe with fire pits and florals or going vintage with retro props and styling. The choice is yours so let your imaginations run riot and design a wedding that you, your family and friends will never forget.
Little Quarme is yours' exclusively for the weekend and includes accommodation for 22 in our six comfortable on site holiday cottages. Your wedding ceremony will take place in our outdoor gazebo overlooking the Quarme Valley. We also have a licenced barn should the weather be really bad! There is a lawn with stunning views where you can erect a marquee for your wedding reception with space to comfortably accommodate 100 as well as garden games, fire pits etc to entertain your guests. Our grounds include a beautiful lily pond, informal gardens, a BBQ and parking for up to 50 cars.
We are also able to offer our facilities at Little Quarme for ceremonies only or indeed for the reception only. We are very flexible and would welcome the opportunity to meet for an informal chat and a tour of the facilities, grounds, gardens and cottages.

Yes, Little Quarme offers exclusive use for all weddings including accommodation from the day of arrival until the day of departure, with extended supplier access if needed for larger events.
Yes, Little Quarme is licensed for civil ceremonies both outside and inside, and you can also have a celebrant for none-official ceremonies.
Yes, Little Quarme offers outdoor weddings - up to 100 guests if you have a suitable Marquee as a bad weather back-up, or up to 60 guests if using our barn as the back-up.
We don't charge corkage if you supply your own drinks.
You can use your own caterers at Little Quarme. We are happy to provide suggestions if you would like us to.
Early access provided for 2 night and marquee ceremonies for suppliers and helpers.
We ask that amplfied music stops at midnight but we quite understand that you may wish to continue with quiet celebrations later on.
You are very welcome to have a live band, indeed we love a live band, it creates a great atmosphere. We just ask that they don't play after 11.30pm.
Fireworks are not allowed as there are animals in the fields surrounding Little Quarme.
Biodegradable confetti is welcomed at Little Quarme, however, please don't bring foil confetti or foil sprinkles.
Candles are allowed in your marquee but not in the cottages or barn. We suggest you use the LED candles which are much easier to manage.
We include our 6 self-catering holiday cottages in the price of our exclusive hire weddings. You can choose which cottage is the most suitable for your needs.

Yes there is accommodation for over 80 people within 1 mile as the crow flies - including Inns, B&Bs, and holiday cottages. There is also a campsite in walking distance and we offer space for some camping/campervans for larger events.
Our Sustainability Commitments
We take our sustainability responsibilities very seriously and have implemented the following: *We use as little plastic as we can and provide greener cleaning products from the Ecover range *We provide recycling facilities to our guests *We make and use our own compost *We encourage wedding couples to choose sustainable options - eg using ebay to source pre-loved decorative items, tableware etc which can then be recycled again *We encourage couples to avoid single use plastics wherever possible
