The Castle Hotel is in the heart of Taunton, Somerset & bursting with a historic past. For more than 70 years, it has been run by three generations of the Chapman family who have a simple ethos for everything that we do - to offer the warmest of welcomes, give the utmost personal attention & exemplary service. Your wedding day is no different!
Our Hotel has a history that dates back over 1000 years and is incredibly proud to have been welcoming visitors since the 12th Century. In recent years, the hotel has been owned and run by the Chapman Family, who are still very much involved in the day to day running of the business. We have an enviable reputation in the South West for our outstanding level of service, and we pride ourselves on being leaders in our field.
