Whether it’s an intimate wedding, a large reception or the civil ceremony, we pride ourselves on providing the perfect wedding venue in Sadler Street, Wells Somerset.

Civil wedding ceremonies are held in the delightful Garden Room. This light and airy room lends itself beautifully to civil wedding ceremonies and opens out onto a secluded Walled Garden.

The newly refurbished Ivory Suite, located on the ground floor, has its own reception and bar area and seats up to 90 guests for a wedding breakfast. Evening functions for up to 250 guests can be catered for by hiring the interconnecting Garden Room.

At the front of our hotel, Swan Terrace provides a unique opportunity to capture Wells Cathedral as a stunning backdrop for wedding photographs.

Sunday to Thursday weddings enjoy a 10% discount on room hire and food.

Luxurious Honeymoon Suite - The stunning Cathedral Suite offers unrivalled panoramic views of Wells Cathedral. The sumptuous and spacious bedroom, sitting room and bathroom are furnished with gilded French furniture, fabulous silk curtains and an eclectic mix of antiques. Guests enjoy a complimentary bottle of Champagne, chocolates and fresh flowers in the suite on arrival.

Weddings worth £5,000 or more allow the bride and groom to enjoy their wedding night in the award-winning Cathedral Suite completely free of charge. (Subject to availiability)
