The Chequers Inn has a history that stretches back to the 16th century. As the oldest alehouse in Weston Turville, with records of brewing on site from 1572, the Grade II Listed building has a distinct character. Inside the bar, broad polished flagstone floors and historic beams are prominent features. The current building was constructed on the site of an older brewhouse between 1783 and 1799.
