Built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild around 1885, The Dairy at Waddesdon Manor is a Victorian building set within ornamental gardens. Its waterside location provides views across a lake, with gardens designed by James Pulham and a wide terrace featuring two pavilions that extend over the water. The venue is part of the wider Waddesdon Estate, which is managed by the Rothschild Foundation.

Inside, the West Hall features a vaulted ceiling, two large open fireplaces, and can seat up to 180 guests for dining. The adjoining South Hall is a dedicated space for dancing, while the connecting Wintergarden is a glass room with direct lake views, suitable for ceremonies or dining for up to 70 guests. For outdoor events, the central Courtyard can hold ceremonies or a dining structure for up to 250 people. The Terrace is often used for summer drinks receptions.

The Dairy operates on an exclusive-use basis, offering private access to the building and its grounds. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies with up to 160 guests and can hold religious or celebrant-led ceremonies for up to 250. Total capacity for an evening reception is 200 guests. Event hire can include a dedicated venue manager and a licence until midnight. For pre-wedding preparations, The Buttery provides a private space surrounded by gardens. Certain packages also include accommodation, with a two-night stay at the two-bedroom Dairy Cottage and the use of all 16 rooms at the nearby Five Arrows Hotel.
