About Holmewood Hall
Set within landscaped grounds in Cambridgeshire, Holmewood Hall centres on a striking Victorian manor with a grand staircase, high ceilings and ornate period detailing. The house has been thoughtfully arranged for weddings, with ceremony, dining and evening celebrations unfolding across elegant reception rooms and out into the gardens.
Civil ceremonies take place indoors in licensed rooms including the Gold Room and the Morning Room, each designed for different guest numbers, while larger gatherings move into the purpose-built Pavilion. The Pavilion is used for wedding breakfasts and evening receptions and includes a private bar and space for dining and dancing in one continuous setting. The flow of the day is straightforward: ceremony in the house, drinks on the lawn or in the hall’s reception rooms, followed by a seated meal and evening celebration in the Pavilion.
The grounds provide space for drinks receptions and photographs, with formal lawns and mature trees framing the house. Couples have exclusive use of the venue on their wedding day, allowing guests to move freely between the manor and the Pavilion. Accommodation is available on site. The main house includes individually styled bedrooms, and additional rooms are provided in a separate courtyard area, giving overnight capacity for wedding guests. A dedicated preparation space is available for the wedding party ahead of the ceremony. Holmewood Hall is located near Peterborough, offering convenient access for guests travelling from across Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties.
