You are able to hold your Ceremony, Drinks Reception, Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception at Abbeywood Estate.
We are licensed for you to hold your Wedding Ceremony for up to 190 guests.
At Abbeywood Estate we are able to offer Woodland and Garden Ceremonies, as well as indoor Ceremonies.
You can choose to have exclusive use of the Abbeywood Estate on any given day, or non exclusive use on a Sunday through to Thursday, depending on final guest numbers.
Abbeywood is a unique, rural Venue set in acres of Cheshire Countryside, situated close to Delamere Forest.
We have boutique onsite accommodation for guests, together with a Bridal Suite and Bridal Preparation Room

About Abbeywood Estate
Abbeywood Estate is a 45-acre family estate in the Delamere countryside of Cheshire with a range of licensed spaces for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening celebrations. Within its grounds, couples can choose from several indoor and outdoor locations depending on the size and style of their day.
The Glasshouse is a year-round function space that can hold more than 190 guests, linked by a glass walkway to the Orangery and Garden Café to form a cohesive indoor setting. For smaller gatherings, the Garden Café offers seating for up to 85 and is also licensed for ceremonies, while the Orangery seats up to 70 and looks out over the Exotic Garden. Around the gardens, the Gazebo is licensed for outdoor ceremonies, and the Main House provides another indoor option for up to 70 guests. The Café Terrace sits adjacent to the Garden Café and Glasshouse, providing space for casual evening occasions such as barbecues or relaxed socialising. Couples work with the venue to tailor how they use these spaces and to create a menu for their reception that reflects their preferences and budget. Across the estate’s gardens and facilities, weddings range from intimate celebrations to larger gatherings with tables, drinks and evening entertainment in spaces that connect indoors with the outdoors.

FAQs
On Friday and Saturday dates we are closed to the public therefore you would have exclusive use of the Venue on these days. We only ever hold one Wedding on any given day. We also offer the option of holding an exclusive Wedding on weekday dates if you wish.
Here at Abbeywood we are licensed for Civil Ceremonies.
You may wish to hold your Wedding Ceremony in our expansive Gardens. You are welcome to do so.
We do offer a Corkage option if you wished to provide your own Wine or Fizz. We charge £9.95 per standard 750ml bottle
We only allow in-house Catering, however our Team will work with you to ensure everything is exactly as you want it to be.
If we do not have a Wedding, you are more than welcome to decorate the Venue the day before. If we do, all decorating will need to take place the morning of your Wedding.
Fireworks are permitted onsite provided they are finished before 11pm and the company providing the Fireworks are fully insured and have the correct documentation.
Your Reception would draw to a close at 12am, unless you opt to extend our opening hours, in which case is would be 1am.
Confetti is allowed provided it is biodegradable.
Noise levels are at the management's discretion.
We allow candles, providing they are in appropriate containers and are placed on a base/tray.
There is a Bridal Suite onsite for the Wedding Couple on the night. This is included in the Venue Hire price.
