We are an award-winning wedding venue that is a completely unique experience… you could say a breath of fresh air! Our licensed ceremonies take place nestled in our 15-acre woodland within an enchanting, thatched shelter with your nearest and dearest taking in the view. Your guests can truly take in the great outdoors, we can create you a package full of fun activities from archery and segway, to falconry! Party the night away in our barn or cosy up next to the fire pits in out terrace.

Your special day will ensure you fall in love with the great outdoors. Our team LOVE it and we’re sure you will too! Your licensed wedding ceremony will take place nestled in our 15 acre woodland within an enchanting thatched shelter with your nearest and dearest taking in the view. Should it take your fancy we can even have your wedding rings flown in by owl! Enjoy a glass of fizz in the woodland or at our waterside gazebo, the perfect photo spot!

If you would like your guests to truly take in the great outdoors (and give them a day to talk about!) take advantage of the exclusive hire of the venue. We can create you a package full of fun activities from archery, falconry, segway, crazy golf and much more!

Party the night away in our barn, which has a capacity of up to 200 guests, where you’ll find our fully licensed bar, space to eat, drink and celebrate! We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed day and night and one that you and your guests will never forget as you sit back in our lounge area and soak up the evening.

If your guests need to rest their heads there is a camping and caravan facilities on-site, including new Glamping Cabins (opening 2023), and plenty of hotel accommodation within 1 mile.

Our Sustainability Commitments

Why is sustainability important to you as a wedding business? As a Woodland venue, sustainability is one of the most important things we think about when organising our weddings. We have a few ways we keep things green and lower our carbon footprint. From using only Biodegradable confetti, using local suppliers, to having reusable venue dressing included! What are your standout earth-friendly features? Some of standout earth-friendly features include; Using only biodegradable confetti, Using local supplier lists, Decoration from our woodland, sourcing caterers who offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, Ale from a local brewery, Recycling all of our waste, Having reusable venue dressing included in our package and having public transport within walking distance! Proudest sustainability initiative you’ve undertaken? Our proudest sustainability initiative would be using and recycling decorations from our very own woodland! Greatest sustainability challenge you’ve overcome? One of the greatest challenges we have overcome would be our firework displays. After trying many different, ways of trying to keep the carbon footprint low, we finally decided to swap them for a laser/light show! Alongside being more sustainable for the planet, the change is a lot kinder and safer for the local wildlife. Top tips for other aspiring green wedding businesses? Our tops tips would be; Use your resources that you have to hand, listen to you customer's feedback and support your local business'. - What would be your 3 top tips for couples planning a green wedding? Our 3 top tips for booking a green wedding would be; To book local suppliers, use biodegradable confetti and use sustainable decorations, e.g. Using wooden table pieces that people could take home as a momento or making sure that something like your guest book is able to be used as a decoration in your home rather than stored away, not to be seen until years later!
