About Stock Farm Wedding Barn
Stock Farm Barn is an exclusive-use wedding and events venue set within the beautiful grounds of the Tatton Estate in Cheshire. The characterful barn and surrounding grounds provide a relaxed yet luxurious setting for weddings, with space for up to 280 guests. Couples have exclusive use of the venue, including the main barn, Stables Barn, gardens, ceremony room, courtyard, preparation rooms and on-site accommodation, creating a seamless setting for the whole day.
Adjacent to the main barn, the Stables Barn offers a smaller, characterful space, ideal for welcome drinks, intimate gatherings or a peaceful retreat during the day. During the warmer months, the lawn provides a beautiful setting for outdoor ceremonies, with an outdoor PA system available for music and speeches. The surrounding gardens and peaceful grounds offer plenty of space for guests to relax and mingle, alongside ample on-site parking with EV charging points.
The venue also includes two preparation rooms and a honeymoon suite, as well as a dedicated, cordoned-off garden ceremony area. On-site accommodation is available at Stock Farmhouse, sleeping up to 14 guests across six bedrooms, and Birkin Farmhouse, sleeping up to 10 guests, making it easy for friends and family to stay close to the celebrations.
The venue layout is designed to allow the whole wedding day to flow naturally, from welcome drinks in the courtyard, through to the wedding breakfast in the main barn and evening celebrations beneath festoon lighting, with a rustic bar creating a relaxed atmosphere.
Exclusive hire includes tables and chairs, indoor and outdoor festoon lighting, a PA system and a courtyard fire pit. Set within the grounds of the Tatton Estate, Stock Farm also offers a variety of beautiful backdrops for photographs, from the characterful courtyard, gardens and cobbled areas to the surrounding open fields.

Set within the grounds of the Tatton Estate, the venue benefits from its natural surroundings and extensive outdoor spaces, encouraging guests to enjoy the existing landscape and gardens. We work with couples and suppliers to reduce waste wherever possible, encourage responsible recycling and reuse, and support the use of local suppliers and produce. The venue also provides EV charging points on site, helping guests travelling by electric vehicle to charge during their visit. We continue to look for practical ways to improve our environmental impact across the venue, including energy use, waste management, sourcing and day-to-day operations.
