Set within the Cheshire countryside just four miles from the historic city of Chester, The Fields centres wedding celebrations around flexibility and personal choice. The venue is a converted barn and garden space designed to host weddings that range from relaxed outdoor gatherings to large-scale celebrations, with couples shaping the format of the day around their own plans rather than a fixed package structure.

Ceremonies can take place indoors or outside in the gardens, including outdoor ceremonies overlooking the Cheshire plains. The barn itself combines open party spaces with smaller corners suited to quieter moments throughout the day, allowing celebrations to move naturally from ceremony to dining and evening reception in one location.

Exclusive-use weddings give couples private access to the venue, creating a setting without shared events or interruptions. A civil ceremony licence allows legal ceremonies on site, while a dedicated wedding planner supports the planning process from early ideas through to the day itself.

Food and drink form a central part of the experience, with menus prepared by the in-house kitchen team. Options range from traditional wedding breakfasts to BBQs, grazing banquets, wood-fired pizzas and evening food, alongside tailored drinks menus and signature cocktail options. The Fields holds up to 250 guests and focuses on adaptable celebrations — from indoor barn receptions to garden-led events — allowing each wedding to be arranged around individual priorities, style and guest experience.
