This magnificent, breathtaking historical manor house provides the perfect setting for your fairytale wedding. Set in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside and licensed for civil ceremonies we are your perfect exclusive use wedding venue.

The Great Hall - This spectacular room commands impressive views over the splendid 18-hole golf course & is a truly magnificent room for your wedding breakfast. With its high vaulted ceilings, displaying coats of arms & large wooden beams with twinkly fairy lights, the Great Hall seats up to 130 guests. With wooden floors throughout, this stunning & spacious room is bursting with natural light & elegance with striking panoramic views.

The Lounge Bar - a charming & delightful room with incredible views across the golf course This is a particular favourite with our visitors & provides a relaxing environment for you & your wedding guests to enjoy.

The Library - is where most of our civil ceremonies take place. This beautiful room gracefully compliments the Great Hall & is also the ideal setting for reception drinks & canapés. The Library also provides the perfect surrounding for your evening’s entertainment with its fireplace & high ceilings.

Outside - we can be found at the end of a mile-long picturesque driveway & is simply breath-taking upon arrival. Wedding cars may arrive in the front courtyard for photographs - guests may park in the private car park to the rear. On the back lawn you can enjoy a drinks reception & mingle with your guests whilst nibbling on canapés & taking in the opulence of the Abbey’s lavish grounds. You may also take a trip on a golf buggy to the Rookery Pool & take advantage of a beautiful photo opportunity, weather permitting.
