FAQs

Yes, we offer exclusive use during your wedding - we have a one wedding a day policy.

Yes we are licenced for civil ceremonies. For a civil ceremony each couple must apply directly to Lisburn and Castlereagh Council Registration Office, we will then provide the necessary documents to return to the council.

Yes of course. If the Northern Ireland weather permits then your outdoor ceremony would be held in our sunken garden located in the walled garden. We always have a Plan A and Plan B option, it's the beauty of plenty of space and exclusive use!

We do not charge corkage so you are welcome to provide your own bubbly for drinks reception and toasts, and wine to be served through dinner. Your caterers will serve these drinks for you and provide all the necessary glassware.

We have five award-winning caterers who we recommend - we believe that this gives you freedom to choose the catering option, budget, and type of food that you would like. All food is locally sourced and prepared and cooked freshly onsite in our extensive top of the range kitchen. Each caterer will have different price ranges and styles to suit all budgets and tastes that we believe are exceptional.

Access to the venue is from 9 am on the morning of the wedding.

The serving of alcohol and music to stop at 1 am (12 midnight on a Sunday, 11 pm on Good Friday or Easter Monday) according to Northern Ireland laws. All guests must have vacated the premises by 1.30 am.

There are no noise restrictions if live band playing indoors.

Yes we allow fireworks and we have a preferred supplier for this. There charge an additional fee for fireworks to cover the fireworks permit, and additional stewarding on the night.

We do indeed allow confetti (great for photos!), so long as it is natural flower petals.

You can have candles at Larchfield Estate, we are one of the few venues who still permit this. We just ask that candles are in a jar / container which is higher than the height of the flame. Candlelight is beautifully atmospheric in the barn.

Our beautifully refurbished, 5 star Rose Cottage, with its quaint, rustic charm and cosy, comforting ambiance, it’s the perfect choice for your stay on the night of your wedding.

Yes we have a gate lodge, 3 cottages and 4 standalone ensute rooms on site which can sleep up to 37 guests.

Yes there is a Premier Inn located approx 10 minutes away as well as local B&Bs within close proximity to Larchfield Estate.
