Our impressive Corinthian Ballroom, catering for up to 250 guests comes complete with private bar, is stylishly decorated and is accented by rather unique coloured mood lighting to help create the perfect ambiance for your wedding celebration. For smaller, more intimate weddings, our Alexander Suite, bathed with natural daylight and views of the river, will host up to 70 guests. Both our Corinthian Ballroom & Alexander Suite are licensed for civil ceremonies too if you would like us to host your complete wedding day.

The City Hotel officially welcomes its newest addition to the hotel with the opening of “Herveys” the only hotel roof terrace in the city. Arguably boasting the best seats in the house, “Herveys” commands breath-taking views of the city over the River Foyle, Foyle Bridge and The Peace Bridge from its dazzling vantage point on the 7th floor.
This chic and cosmopolitan rooftop event space is a wonderful add on for weddings at the hotel. Our wedding parties can enjoy private use of our rooftop oasis on their big day. Flooded with natural day light by day and adorned with glistening lights from the city by night, the panoramic views provide endless opportunities for capturing magical moments and sensational wedding photographs against the city’s stunning backdrop.
