About Dalston Hall
Set within a Grade II listed manor house in North Cumbria, Dalston Hall is offered on an exclusive-use basis, giving couples private access to the venue throughout their wedding day. Surrounded by landscaped grounds, the setting combines indoor and outdoor ceremony options alongside spaces designed to carry celebrations from vows through to evening celebrations.
Ceremonies can take place indoors or outside within the gardens, where a stone gazebo overlooks the lawns. Inside, the Baronial Hall forms the centre of the day, hosting ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions in one continuous space beneath high ceilings, a grand gallery and chandelier lighting. Couples have use of the venue from an hour before the ceremony, with no other weddings or events taking place on the same day.
Dalston Hall holds up to 128 guests for daytime celebrations and up to 180 for the evening. Wedding packages include exclusive venue use, dining and on-the-day coordination, with options ranging from full-day weddings to twilight and two-day celebrations.
Accommodation is available within the hall itself, with 11 guest bedrooms for friends and family staying overnight, alongside a honeymoon suite included for the couple on their wedding night. The flow of the day remains centred in one location, allowing ceremonies, dining and celebrations to take place within the hall and surrounding grounds without guests needing to move between venues.

Yes! We are licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies! Our Stone Gazebo is the most picturesque outdoor ceremony area, making it the perfect spot for your 'I Do'!
We have an amazing in-house catering team providing top quality food for the day of your wedding. Due to this, we do not allow external caterers for your wedding breakfast however we do allow you to have food trucks on the premises on the evening of your special day.
You have access to The Getting Ready Room from 8am and access to decorate rooms from 9am on the day of your wedding!
Yes, we have a beautiful honeymoon suite and getting ready room at our venue. And even better... these are both included in your wedding package!
Yes we have 11 rooms onsite which can sleep up to 24 of your guests.
