About Losehill House Hotel & Spa
Losehill House opens its doors for weddings with exclusive use of the entire hotel for a 24-hour period, closing the building and grounds so you and your guests have the venue to yourselves during that time. On your wedding day you can hold a civil ceremony, humanist ceremony or partnership ceremony, then enjoy a drinks reception on the lawns before moving into the Orangery for your wedding breakfast, where around 80 guests can be seated.
In the evening the Orangery and lounge bar become the setting for a house-party-style celebration where up to 120 guests can dance to a band of your choice. The hotel’s 22 bedrooms with space for up to 50 overnight guests are all part of the exclusive use package, meaning friends and family can stay on site. Losehill House sits in the Derbyshire Peak District amidst rural landscape, with views across the Hope Valley, and offers a mix of indoor and outdoor settings for different parts of your day. The combination of lawn space, reception rooms and hotel accommodation is woven into how weddings there unfold: ceremony and drinks outside or in the Orangery, a seated wedding meal in the Orangery for around 80, and an evening gathering with music and dancing for up to 120, all supported by the ability for guests to remain on the property overnight.
