A stunning renovated watermill surrounded on both sides by the Avon River with uninterrupted views across the water meadows. Exclusively yours the Mill provides privacy and flexibility for you to create your own unique wedding.

We want Sopley Mill to be a blank canvas for you to create your own perfect wedding. We will provide the stunning views, beautiful historic building and the privacy that is hard to find in other local wedding venues. You can choose the caterers you want from our extensive list, the photographers who’s style you like, the florist who you know, the wedding planner you trust, the decorations you have longed for – it is completely up to you. And, just as important to keep the costs down, we allow you to bring in your own drink without a corkage charge. So you can have a glass of champagne without having to pay the earth for it.
The Mill has a top floor which is ideal for your wedding breakfast and can fit 100 people seated. The 2nd floor will be licensed for weddings (and can fit 100 people) and then turns into a dance floor for the evening. The ground floor and bar is the perfect place for drinks when your guests arrive and for those who want to chill out in the evening.
Although only 10 minutes from the center of Bournemouth the Mill has a fantastic rural setting. There are plenty of hotels within 5 minutes drive so guests wont have to far to travel.
In the summer months your guests can enjoy the garden with stunning views across the unspoilt Watermeadows. And for more relaxed weddings you may prefer to have a BBQ style wedding breakfast outside.
With its log fires and cosy atmosphere the Sopley Mill is just as perfect for winter weddings.
