About The Orangery Suite
The Orangery Suite is a wonderfully unique venue for the perfect English country garden wedding. Set within a three acre walled garden, The Orangery offers exclusive use of the beautifully landscaped grounds & extensive facilities in Poole, Dorset. With its intimate elegance & relaxed surroundings, The Orangery Suite and Gardens is one of the premier wedding venues in Dorset. The Orangery is also an affordable & is in a quiet & secluded countryside location 1 mile from Wimbourne.

With exclusive use of the beautifully landscaped walled garden, The Orangery is an idyllic setting for a couple's special day guests to witness you say ‘I do’ in romantic surroundings.
We are licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies within the beautifully landscaped walled garden. Our stunning, pagoda-style marquee, seating up to 85 guests, is included, for receptions on the lawn.
After the ceremony, guests can make their way to the terrace overlooking the manicured lawns of the magnificent walled garden, which has plenty of outdoor seating for al fresco drinks served from the chic summerhouse, whilst the newly married couple have photographs taken in the elegant grounds.
For the wedding reception, a wide variety of excellent catering is available with impeccable, attentive service provided by our selection of professional local caterers, ranging from an informal buffet, barbecue, hog roast or cream tea, to the more traditional wedding breakfast. There is no corkage charge for you to provide your own post-ceremony or arrival drinks, wine with the meal and bubbly for toasts. In addition, a fully stocked, staffed bar is also available for guests to purchase drinks.
Your evening reception can be hosted in the marquee or Orangery room with direct access to the festoon-lit terrace providing a romantic or festival vibe. We encourage your special touches, such as stylists and live music. Whatever the case, your Orangery Suite evening reception will leave guests with fond memories that will last a lifetime.

Yes. The Orangery and walled garden are not open to the public so you will have exclusive use of the venue for your wedding.
Yes, The Orangery has a licence from BCP Council for marriages and civil partnerships. A fee for the Registrar is payable directly to BCP Council.
Yes, we are licensed for outdoor ceremonies. Our wooden gazebo within the walled garden is licensed, with white chairs set up on the lawn in front of it. Most of the ceremony will be conducted in front of the gazebo, but you will step inside the structure with the Registrar and witnesses for the 'legal' bits - the vows and signing the Register.
You may supply reception drinks for your tables. They can be chilled in our fridge before the meal. We don't charge corkage, but a service charge may apply, depending on your preferred caterer.
Yes - we do make a supplementary fee if a caterer other than one of our recommended ones is used. They would have access to our kitchen.
You will have access to The Orangery and marquee from 8am on the wedding day.

Yes, The Orangery Suite is available for hire on any day of the week.
White limewash Chivari chairs with ivory seat pads, round and rectangular tables, a cake table and white linen tablecloths are included in the venue hire price.
As of 2023 discos and live bands are now permitted at the venue. These can be arranged in the Marquee or in the Orangery Suite Room.
No - we offer an exclusive venue that can be tailored to your individual requirements.
Yes - the venue hire is cheaper on Fridays and Sundays and cheaper still on Mondays to Thursdays.
We ask for a £800 non-refundable deposit to confirm the booking; the final balance is due 1 calander month before the wedding date.
Wedding venue hire prices start from £2995, prices depend on amount of hire time & day / date.
