Baddow Park House sits on the edge of Great Baddow, outside Chelmsford in Essex, as a private country house wedding venue set within parkland and gardens. The main reception space is the Orangery, a largely glass structure with bi-folding doors that open onto a terrace and grounds, seating up to around 150 guests and able to be used throughout the day and into the evening.

Indoor ceremony options also include rooms such as the Oak Room and Drawing Room, each with distinct character and views over the surrounding landscape, and outdoor ceremonies can take place in the gardens or at the Oak Pavilion.
Couples and their guests have exclusive use of the house and grounds on their wedding day. Within the grounds there are terraces, lawns and varied garden areas that offer multiple settings for drinks receptions, mingling between ceremony and dinner, and photography.

The venue includes on-site accommodation, with a bridal suite plus additional en-suite bedrooms that overlook the parkland and gardens. These rooms are available solely for the use of the wedding party and guests, allowing celebrations to continue through the night and into the following morning. In planning a wedding at Baddow Park House, couples work with the venue’s team to arrange the sequence of the day and to tailor catering and room setups to their requirements, using both indoor and outdoor areas as suits their event.
