They offer on-site catering, accommodation for 20 which includes a a bridal suite, and have a wedding coordinator on staff to make sure your wedding day runs smoothly.

Colville Hall is fully licensed to hold civil weddings in our Orchard Barn and our two gazebos make an ideal outside wedding setting, while our Mill Pond Barn with its 30 foot glass doors overlooking our duck pond make for a surreal and never to be forgotten backdrop to your wedding breakfast.
Located in the lovely village of White Roding on the Hertfordshire / West Essex border, Chelmsford is 11 miles away to the East and Harlow is 9 miles to the West. Bishop Stortford is located 7 miles north.
Colville Hall is a working farm which produces wheat for the family’s mill in Chelmsford (Marriages).
The arboretum which stretches across the whole farm underlines how well the gardens and farm link to not only the beautiful old buildings but the surrounding farm. The ambiance and tranquillity of Colville Hall will take your breath away. The beauty of our formal gardens which extend to 10 acres include ponds, gazebos, ancient monuments, and a listed Grade 1 arch way, for the most romantic picture opportunities that you will treasure for the rest of your life.

Yes, weather permitting. There are two Barns available if the weather turns last minute and you nee to bring eveything inside.
We don't offer corkage but do have a fantastic selection of drinks packages for every taste and budget
Colville Hall has a partnership with Limeberry Catering to provide an exquisite dining service for your special day. Outside caterers can only be used for cultural requirements.
From 9am the day of the wedding.

Yes, a traffic light system is in place but most bands are used to working with these
Unfortunately not, we cannot have fireworks due to the thatched roof.
Yes but only inside the venue
No naked flames due to being a thatched building but battery or led candles are acceptable.
Yes, we have a wonderful Bridal Suite on site and the total capacity for accommodation is 20
The Old Dairy has 4 ensuite, bedrooms, sleeps 8 and is full of character and charm. The Stable Block has 4 en-suites and sleeps 10 with 1 family room . Each property is a self contained house with kitchen and living room.

Plently of parking for 200 cars which can be securely left overnight for collection the following day (10am at the latest)
Of course, in areas where there is no food, but please keep an eye on them.
We have a wedding coordinator team, all capable of answering your queries. Your contact will be decided beforehand at your planning meeting. The office can be contacted for all questions too.
