Originally home of Henry Roper, gentleman servant to Catherine of Aragon. Marygreen Manor effortlessly combines its historic 16th Century Tudor home with modern, efficient style & service, offering some of the finest food in the county.

The main building is bursting with original Tudor features with wood panelled walls, interesting ornate ceilings and oak beams in abundance! The award winning Restaurant is set in an original Baronial Hall with large barley twist columns and a vast vaulted ceiling. The garden is one of the areas “hidden treasures”, an oasis of calm tranquility with plants that cascade over the tiled roofs of the main house and chapel, framing, on one side, the large ornate stained glass window found in the end wall.

The period function rooms are ideally suited for weddings. The hotel has a license for Civil Ceremonies, and can cater for wedding meals and associated Receptions. The versatile configuration that enables them to cater for functions from 4 guests up to 125 guests. The rooms offer the perfect setting for intimate family dinners or extravagant evening parties. Apart from the obvious advantages of holding your special day at this beautiful venue there is of course the added benefit of being able to spend your honeymoon night in one of the Tudor suites whilst also proving your guests with the option of onsite accommodation – Perfect!
