With 20+ years' experience as a dedicated wedding venue, we have mastered the essence of what makes your perfect day! Situated in 100 acres of tranquil Essex countryside, Fennes, our beautiful Georgian manor house, is your home for the day, with exclusive use for your wedding or event guaranteed. With its stunning grounds, and with various rooms licenced we are able to accommodate intimate weddings to large wedding parties. There is something truly unique about The Fennes Estate in Bocking.

The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies, which can be held indoors or outdoors beneath a garden gazebo. For receptions, the Pavilion features silk linings, chandeliers, and a built-in dance floor, holding up to 250 guests for a wedding breakfast. Its doors open onto a deck overlooking the grounds. The Banqueting Hall is the largest space, with a starlit ceiling and room for up to 500 guests. Several smaller rooms within the main house are also available for more intimate events.

A dedicated wedding coordinator is provided for every event. The in-house catering team can prepare menus ranging from three-course meals to world buffets and hog roasts, and the venue may permit outside caterers for specific religious or cultural reasons. To conclude the celebration, Fennes provides 13 guest rooms and a self-contained Honeymoon Cottage on-site.

Fennes was one of the first venues in the UK to be licensed for civil ceremonies after the law changed in 1995. The venue is part of the family-run Tabor Group and was an Essex Wedding Award Winner in 2013. The estate is located near the A120, M11, and A12, with direct rail links to London and proximity to Stansted Airport.
