About The Waltham Barns at Little Channels
Little Channels sits on the edge of Little Waltham’s countryside at Pratts Farm Lane West, just outside Chelmsford in Essex. The venue has spaces licensed for civil ceremonies for all couples. One beamed, characterful room welcomes up to 70 guests for a seated ceremony, with the option to extend to around 90 people by using the larger adjacent barn space, and up to 85 seated guests for a meal or approximately 130 informal guests in the evening.
A flagstone courtyard and a wedding garden lie immediately outside the main room. These outdoor areas are exclusively yours for the whole day and are furnished for guests to step out, play lawn games or serve drinks from the outside bar.
The Cottage, a three-bedroom building on site, is part of wedding packages. It has en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen and a garden area, and is included for the wedding night. Downstairs space is arranged with seating and hair-dressing stations to support morning preparations with your wedding party.
Flexible payment plans let couples spread the cost of their day over up to 36 months of interest-free credit. A coordinator team works with couples before and on the day to support planning and help keep the schedule on track.
