Magical in both winter, with roaring fires, magestic drawing rooms & warm mulled wine or in summer with croquet on the lawn, pictures by the lily pond and cool fruity Pimms.

Berkeley Castle will be exclusively yours for the day. Our experienced Wedding & Events Manager will be available throughout the process to personally look after you and your fiancée, as well as your family and friends. Together with expert and friendly stewards, fantastic caterers and staff, Berkeley Castle offers a unique and intimate service in a stunning location.

The Castle is a magnificent medieval fortress that is still home to the Berkeley family who built it more than 860 years ago. Outside, enjoy a drinks reception on the gun terrace overlooking the stunning grounds, drop down to the lawns below and capture memories to last a lifetime by the Lily Pond or on the grand steps.

Dine & dance in the magnificent Great Hall and finish the night with a luxurious sleep in Blossom Cottage, our honeymoon suite. Whilst guests can meander down the private drive to Brook House & The Salt House, two beautiful town houses that sleeps up to 36 guests.

We are licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 130 guests and can seat up to 130 in our Great Hall for a formal wedding breakfast with the option to invite an additional 50 guests for your wedding reception (180 in total).
