Sudeley Castle is a venue with a rich history & 1,200 acres of grounds in the heart of the Cotswold Hills. Romantic ruins set against a backdrop of sweeping valleys & magnificent gardens create a beautiful & dramatic setting for your wedding.

The castle’s history is intertwined with that of Kings, Queens and noblemen whose lives have played out here throughout the ages. By holding your most memorable day at this breath-taking and historic castle you, too, will become a part of its rich and romantic story.

Due to the exceptionally unique nature of the venue, we only host a limited number of weddings each year. For the duration of your wedding, you and your guests will enjoy access to the magnificent gardens grounds and breath-taking views surrounding the castle.

Sudeley Castle offers a stylish, elegant and utterly unique venue, unlike anywhere else. A wedding at Sudeley is a truly special occasion, completely distinctive from any other.

The picturesque castle, elegant gardens and romantic ruins provide a charming setting for your reception, as well as offering a terrific choice of photographic backdrops for wedding pictures. Whilst our grand Banqueting Hall and bright, airy Pavilion provide spacious dining and celebration areas, and with a large terrace and pretty outdoor bar, your guests can relax whilst admiring the stunning views across the valley.

Alternatively, marquees are placed on our North Lawn, which boasts majestic views of the Castle and overlooks the scenic carp pond which is blanketed in water lilies. Enjoy a truly magical moment, dancing as the sun sets over the castle and the Tithe Barn, completing your perfect day.
