The Stables Wedding Farm, a stunning 18th-century farmhouse in Oldham, Greater Manchester, is the perfect venue for couples seeking a rustic yet elegant wedding. Set on the historic Slackfield farm, the venue offers 10 acres of picturesque grounds, including beautifully maintained gardens and breathtaking views of the rolling hills. Saddleworth's only rural themed wedding venue, it guarantees an authentic & heartwarming countryside experience, making your special day truly memorable.
Dedicated off road parking for a selection of cars, leading to a tree lined, fairy lit footpath and exclusive private access.
From the car park there is a festoon lit festival path leading up to the main event space. Restricted mobility guests can take advantage of our dedicated 6-seater buggy.
Guests arrive at the main function zone & make the most of the majestic views. This area consists of a large flat section of artificial lawn ideal for any outdoor ceremony, which links directly into the marquee(s) of your choice.
In addition to this, there is a large section of open space around the beautiful heart shaped feature pond, with picnic tables, artificial grass, ideal for outdoor games, along with amphitheatre seating for more photographs or even a children’s entertainer
The main private house has beautifully landscaped lawn and garden, shrouded with trees, a thatched summer house and an ornamental fish pond.
Should your chosen mode of transport drive you inside the main house gates, the backdrop, landscaped grounds and menagerie of animals present memorable photo opportunities.
This also then leads onto the wedding party’s personal access to the marquee area for your grand entrance.

YesThe Stables Wedding Farm is fully licensed to undertake your legal ceremony on site. This service needs to be booked well in advance with the local authority registrar service, to accommodate your time and date.

We do offer a fully licensed premises however if you wanted to bring your own tipple to the venue, a corkage fee will apply.
You can either choose to use our own catering services or you can choose to bring your own catering to the venue.
3 full days prior to their big day to allow plenty of time to come along add their finishing touches, to make the space bespoke to them.

We have a close relationship with all our neighbours and therefore your band / DJ must respect this. Last orders is 11.45pm and all music must finish at 12AM prompt.

Purpose-built toilet block next to the marquee…the fanciest toilets in the Saddleworth Countryside fully equipped with reed diffusers, candles and toiletry baskets.
