Revealing over 800 years of history in one fascinating location at the heart of the Old Town, Tudor House gives a unique and atmospheric insight into the lives of its residents over the centuries. The beautiful building and garden can be hired exclusively or on a room-by-room basis for weddings. Historic Hampshire wedding venue steeped with history.

Southampton’s most unique venue provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding. Say “I do” in the historic Georgian Room overlooking the Tudor Knot Garden before greeting your guests as a married couple in the atmospheric 16th century wood-panelled Banqueting Hall. Within the garden you can capture treasured memories against the striking backdrop of King John’s Palace. This impressive stone building, steeped in over a thousand years of history, can be specially hired for your wedding photography providing a unique reminder of your special day. While the location is outdoors, you are welcome to hire a marquee for the occasion.
The Georgian Room can accommodate your ceremony with up to 35 guests in a variety of room layouts. The Banqueting Hall can hold up to 40 people for your reception.

Tudor House is centrally located and easily accessible from Southampton Central train station, the Port of Southampton, Red Funnel ferry terminal, the M27 and M3 motorways.
