About Glewstone Court Country House
Glewstone Court Country House is a stunning Grade II listed Georgian manor house wedding venue surrounded by breathtaking views across the Herefordshire countryside, with a wedding license to say 'I do' anywhere on the grounds . Home to picturesque gardens with a Mediterranean-themed courtyard, a charming apple orchard right on the doorstep and a spectacular 500-year-old Cedar of Lebanon tree. Glewstone Court is truly one of the most beautiful countryside locations to celebrate your big day.
A family-owned and run 1800s Country Manor House with a spectacular 500-year-old Cedar of Lebanon, steeped with history with unique regency features Glewstone Court provides a perfect setting for your special day.
You can get married at the award-winning venue and host your civil ceremony and hold the reception here too. There are a total of 10 bedrooms, which sleep up to 30 people depending on room combinations, and all weddings will have exclusive use of the whole venue throughout their celebrations.

Enjoy the hire of Glewstone across 2 days for the same price as 1 day! Available for weddings up to the end of 2025. From experience, our couples find a great benefit in hiring Glewstone Court for 48 hours. It gives you a chance for some quality, chill time for you and your families before all the excitement of the big day itself and for a lot of guests, we have found it is the perfect time to break the ice and to get to know each other a little better. Our incredibly talented chef can serve a pre-wedding, relaxed family-style dinner. It also means that you will wake up here on the day, having access to the suite early, so no rushing around. Instead, you can relax and enjoy the morning with the wedding party and family. We can deliver a breakfast tray to the room and even some bubbles to get ready in style. Another benefit is that your guests will have access to their rooms earlier, giving them a more relaxed experience too - with time to settle in ahead of the wedding.

Yes, we are an exclusive-use venue. Your day is all about you and your wedding only so we are dedicated in hosting your special day!
We hold a licence to host civil wedding ceremonies and partnerships for up to 80 guests.
You certainly can! Whether it’s overlooking the apple orchards or under our 350-year-old Cedar tree, the choice is yours as to how you wish to celebrate the most important day of your life
Yes we do charge a corkage fee if you choose to bring in your own wine.
We don't allow external caterers, however our in-house food is set at a 2-rosette standard, so I am confident that you and your guests will love our food!!
Access to the venue for set up is 11am on the day of your wedding.
We finish at 11pm but you are more than welcome to extend this for a supplement to 12am or 1am.
All LIVE music is to stop at 11pm but a DJ can continue until 12am
Due to our rural location and proximity to farms, we do not allow fireworks. However, we have had couples bring in a bit of sparkle and we do allow sparklers which can be used outside when the light goes down and the party starts!
We allow biodegradable confetti or dried flowers/petals.
We can hold high candles on tables and as you walk down the aisle as long as they are water floating candles.
Yes, we have our beautifully decorated Gainsborough Suite which is huge.
Yes. We have 9 guest bedrooms on site (not including the honeymoon suite).
Yes, we have a list of local accommodation that we can supply to you.
Our Sustainability Commitments
All communication is now electronic as we no longer send/print brochures or use postal services. Email is our primary mode of communication. We also promote video call meetings as much as possible when planning your event with us. We do have a virtual tour on our website, so people can see the house set up for a wedding and explore the venue in the comfort of their own home, instead of travelling to see the venue to see if it would be suitable for your needs.
