The park is a setting for marquee weddings, corporate functions, festivals, and special occasions, with grounds that include an eight-acre Events Field capable of holding up to 4,000 people.

A variety of outdoor areas are available. The eight-acre Events Field can hold up to 4,000 people, making it suitable for large-scale public or corporate functions, including festivals and sports events. For more private gatherings, the 'Bluebell' and 'Primrose' areas offer distinct spaces. The park also provides dedicated areas for private barbecues.

Managed as a not-for-profit enterprise since 2012, the park allows event organisers to bring their own food, with some guidelines on external caterers in certain hire areas. Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary council approval for their event. The wider park includes a farm, nature trails, and an adventure playground, adding to the character of the location.
