Set in a stunning location in the Chilterns the Gaddesden Estate offers a variety of outdoor spaces for wedding receptions, including sunken woodland, the formal gardens of the Golden Parsonage, the red-brick walled garden and open flower meadow. Gaddesden Estate is an exclusive-use outdoor venue. The grounds available to hire around the Golden Parsonage range from semi-formal gardens to fully wild spaces.

This picturesque estate is just a stone’s throw from London, with direct transport links to Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Berkhamsted and Harpenden, just a short drive away. There are multiple options for accommodation nearby in hotels, B&Bs and with an option to glamp onsite.

There is complete flexibility to choose which areas of the estate are ideal for your celebration, with the option to combine the use of multiple spaces on the day. You are given exclusivity over the Estate grounds, and you can choose which of the unique spaces are the perfect setting for your structures, drinks, and ceremony.
All of the outdoor spaces are available on a dry hire basis, giving you the freedom to create your perfect day with your own choice of suppliers. If you'd like a little extra support, the Big Green Space team is on hand to guide you through every step of the planning journey.

Please note that all infrastructure, including power, toilets, and any other structures, will need to be brought in, and the Golden Parsonage itself is a private residence and not available to hire.
