Our lake view field provides a beautiful venue for your wedding. The field is situated on a farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty in the stunning Isle of Wight countryside. Situated next to a lake with glorious sunsets, you have access to the surrounding areas for some unique photos as well as the flexibility to planning your wedding how you desire.

he Weddings & Occasions field is situated next to a beautiful lake, the perfect backdrop for photos and guests. The lake hosts magical sunsets and charming countryside views. Your booking gives you exclusive use of the lakeside field and provides you with flexibility to plan your wedding or occasion as you desire.
The stunning lake not only provides a gorgeous backdrop to your wedding or occasion, the surrounding area has plenty of equally delightful photograph opportunities. We are happy to work with your photographer to provide backdrops around the farm, including; the bridge over the lake and surrounding area, the forest, the fields, the farmhouse or the farm yard and barns.
Along with the whole lakeside field, your booking gives you access to; a water point, fountain on the lake, the surrounding lakeside area and a parking area. Other amenities can be organised if required; camping area, fire pit & hay bales. We are also able to offer discounted ferry crossings for you and your guests.
Westover Farm provides exclusive use of the lakeside field for your wedding or occasion from Thursday 8am - Sunday 6pm. This four day duration gives you plenty of time to set up and pack down and utilise the space as needed. Should you require extra time or different days, these can be arranged.
Westover Farm is located just outside the picturesque village of Calbourne, about ten minutes from the county town of Newport. The five hundred acres arable farm sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, underneath Brighstone Forest. The farm is on the main Newport to Freshwater road and within 10-30 minutes drive of all the Island ferries. The field itself sits next to a lake. There is a large flat area which can house a marquee approximately 9m x 24m, enough for in the region of 140 guests seated or 250 standing.
