Yes, you can have exclusive use of the venue. To take the venue exclusively, this involves hiring the venue but also the nine hideaway lodges.
Yes, we are licenced for civil ceremonies for both outdoor ceremonies in the Wild Apple Garden Orchard and from within The Old Malt Granary. Both areas are licenced for up to 120 people. In addition to this, there is The new Glass Courtyard and for more intimate weddings, the vaulted reception room within the house.
Yes, we have an incredible indoor ceremony area. The Old Malt Granary has been converted into a permanent indoor ceremony area. This converted barn has a rustic and slightly industrial feel.
We have a wine list, but we are open to corkage on both wine and bubbles.
We have a catering team.
To decorate the venue, we ask that you do a decor drop off the night before of any specifics such as name cards and table plans. The following day we will then work with your suppliers to decorate your tables etc
Fireworks are not allowed. However, laser lights are permitted.
Yes, confetti is allowed. Your confetti would need to biodegradable, with real petals or, for instance rice.
Yes, we allow real candles as long as the wax is collected up. Candles will need to be raised off the floor.
Yes, there is an incredible honeymoon suite with a freestanding bath, on-suite bathroom and a veranda overlooking the Arts & Crafts style garden.
Yes, there are three accommodation options for you and your guests. Chapel House, situated at the heart of the estate, has five bedrooms that sleep 10. Nine Hideaway Lodges, which sleep a total of 18 Two cottages that sit on the edge of the estate, Chapel Cottage has 3 bedrooms that sleep 6 people and Thorne Cottage has two bedrooms that sleep 4 people.
Chapel House Estate is located less than one mile from the Kent Coast. As a result, there is accommodation all around us.
