About The Cider Works

The Cider Works, originally a public house dating back to 1784, offers a charming blend of history and style for your wedding day. We have three licensed ceremony spaces—The Garden Room, The Dining Room, and The Apple Barn with its adjoining terrace—accommodating up to 90 guests for the ceremony and up to 250 for the reception. Our in-house chef provides a range of dining options, from elegant formal meals to a relaxed, festival-style BBQ or hog roast.

After the festivities, couples and their guests can retreat to our cozy shepherd’s huts and unwind around the fire pit for a perfect end to a memorable day.

Weddings at The Cider Works are all about the couple, no fixed packages, we aim to reflect the couples style and personality creating a day that is unique to them. We do 1-2 weddings every week.

Our in-house team manages all catering and bar services, sourcing ingredients from a variety of local suppliers and even growing a selection of herbs and vegetables on-site. Our talented chef crafts each wedding menu to be as unique as the couple themselves, drawing inspiration from sample menus while offering fully personalized options—whether it’s a relaxed buffet or an elegant fine dining experience.
