The Ferry House is a charming 16th Century building, tucked away in Kent countryside, with 4* accommodation for up to 50, wonderful views and award winning catering services for your perfect day!

Our venue is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in both the Oak Barn or outside in Gazebo. To follow the ceremony, you have the choice of hosting your wedding breakfast in either the Oak Barn, seating up to 70, or our brand new Event Suite seating up to 200. For the main event (or as we see it, the food!) we offer varied menus to suit you. As members of Produced in Kent, we are proud of the quality of our ingredients; the Lamb and Beef are from our own family farms, the Game is from our shoot and we now grow all our own fresh produce onsite, it our kitchen garden. The Ferry House was awarded Kent Dining Pub of the Year in 2014 and in 2018. Our Evening Reception options include Barn only receptions for up to 100 guests, Barn and Dance floor options which include an additional private wedding bar for up to 150 guests or our entire Event Suite, suitable for up to 300 guests. This option also includes the private wedding bar. To end the day in style and comfort, we have five 4* B&B rooms on site for you and your guests; including our Bridal Suite with a super king sized sleigh bed, spa bath, lounge area and views across the wedding Patios, Gardens and Estuary. Wake up to an award winning local breakfast and reminisce on the day before. Just off-site, we also own Mocketts Farm Cottages, a complex of four 4* self-catered cottages available to book for 30 plus guests. The perfect ‘next-stop’ for family and friends to stay or to make a weekend of things!
