Lovingly refurbished, The Moat and Tap Room is the perfect setting for any Bride and Groom looking for an architecturally pleasing and unique wedding venue with everything you need in one place, the combination of our newly refurbished bar space alongside the 15th century listed barn means the setting is truly versatile, suitable for all seasons from Christmas with a beautifully lit fire to taking full advantage of the amazing Kent countryside for all your photo opportunities during the Summer.

WELCOME TO THE MOAT...
Your unique journey starts when you first step into the Moat, where a warm welcome awaits you. Once you have had your beautiful ceremony in our unique 15th century barn, enjoy your first drink as a married couple in our newly refurbished Tap Room and take photographs with your loved ones in the exclusive secret courtyard garden.

Come back inside to the barn to feast with friends and family, relax in comfortable surroundings and dance the night away!

Our charming barn has retained many of its original features meaning it oozes charm and character. The combination of traditional features and elegant décor mean The Moat is the perfect place to host your big day. The venue is situated in the glorious ‘Garden of England’ which is easily accessible from the M20 and M25.

We can accommodate up to 100 guests for both ceremony (we hold a full civil wedding license) and full sit-down wedding breakfast, along with 150 guests for your evening reception.

Only three Saturdays left for 2023, 15th July, 12th August, and 11th November.
