Our magnificent historic hotel with its high ceilings and sweeping staircase, its location close to Lancaster Castle, its elegant interior design, wonderful food and friendly staff mean that ours is the perfect venue for your special day.

Whether the Ballroom with its balcony and stunning chandelier is your dream venue, or you prefer the understated charm of the Library, we will be delighted to show you round. During your visit our wedding planner will sit down and discuss the finest details of your day and will help you plan your special menu, making sure that they understand exactly what you want and when you would like it.

On the day itself, our experienced staff will be on hand to greet you and your guests and guide you through each stage of the day so that all you need to do is enjoy yourselves. The Ballroom can hold up to 80 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 100 for an evening party with buffet. If you are looking for a more intimate celebration, the Library is ideal for up to 40 guests enjoying a formal meal or relaxed buffet. Last but not least, as a thank you for sharing your special day with us, the Bridal Suite is included with our compliments.
