About Samlesbury Hall
Samlesbury Hall presents wedding days within a historic house in Lancashire with licensed civil ceremonies and bespoke catering. Couples can marry with up to 120 people and choose to use the 15th-century former chapel or the Garden Room Eatery for their ceremony, followed by dinner and evening celebrations in the 700-year-old Great Hall.
The venue’s team of chefs prepare tailored menus from locally sourced ingredients for the wedding breakfast and evening reception, with the capacity to cater for 150 during the day and up to 250 later. There is no minimum number of guests, and smaller celebrations of around 30 people are accommodated. Accommodation on site includes Shepherd’s Huts for guests and the historic Gatehouse for the couple, allowing people to stay overnight as part of their wedding experience. Couples and guests move through the day within the halls and historic rooms, sharing meals and entertainment under ancient architecture and finishing the night before resting on the estate. Samlesbury Hall’s approach emphasises personalisation, with menus and arrangements shaped to each couple’s choices and a welcoming setting drawn from its long history in Lancashire.
