You will have exclusive use of our Buttercross Suite for your special day. The adjacent hotel and grounds are open to the public.

Yes we are licensed for civil ceremonies and marriages. Contact the Grimsby Register Office for available dates and current prices.

Yes we are licenced to have ceremonies outdoors.

Yes we do charge corkage if you bring your own wine. A price will be given on request.

To ensure we keep our excellent high standards of food and service quality only food prepared by our chefs on our premises is allowed.

You will have access to the venue on the morning of your wedding. Access will be from very early. It may be possible to access the room the day before however this will be chargeable and not confirmed until nearer your wedding date. We strongly advised you do not book room decorators without prior consent from ourselves.

This will depend on the package you have booked, however most weddings have a bar until midnight, last orders at 11:45pm, carriages at 12.30am.

There are no noise restrictions, however we ask for the sound to be kept at a reasonable level. Outside doors are to be kept closed.

Due to the hotel having a thatched roof for safety and insurance purposes we do not allow fireworks

We kindly ask that only biodegradable confetti is used outside only.

Candles are allowed, however we ask that they are away from foliage and materials that can easily ignite.

We have a beautiful bridal suite

We have 42 bedrooms in the adjacent hotel. A range of double, superior, family and easy access rooms are available. Ground floor rooms are also available.

There are a range of hotels approx 10 mins drive from the hotel.
