About Blueprint Café

The terrace at Le Pont de la Tour might have the famous view of Tower Bridge but the vistas of the river are actually better from the Blueprint Café downstream, which is also part of the D&D London restaurant group.

Set on the second floor of the former Design Museum site on the south bank of the river Thames, Blueprint Café makes the most of its panoramic views with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private terrace. In warm weather, the restaurant’s glass doors open to create the illusion of dining outside on the river, while the views stretch all the way from Tower Bridge and the ever-changing skyline of the City down to the towers of Canary Wharf.

British-accented, modern European menus feature dishes such as aged beef tartare, house-cured salmon and shellfish minestrone followed by poached halibut, Gloucester Old Spot pork chop and roast duck, the likes of which can be served up at wedding breakfasts.

Vegetarian and vegan options include crapaudine beetroot with hazelnut praline and Muscat grapes, cauliflower soup with curry oil and Tunworth cheese soldiers, and mushroom pearl barley risotto with chargrilled Portobello mushroom and lemon balm.

An event manager is on hand to assist couples to design a fully bespoke event for the big day and is open to all ideas, from a traditional sit-down wedding breakfast set-up to something more casual and laid back. The event manager can also organise and manage all your AV requirements.

120 guests can be seated for a sit-down lunch or dinner or there’s space for 170 people for a stand-up reception. There are options for dancing and entertainment, too.
