About Royal Lancaster London
Positioned adjacent to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, Royal Lancaster London is a mid-century building designed by architect Richard Seifert. An £85 million renovation introduced a new marble lobby and glazed façade, enhancing the panoramic views of the London skyline available from many of its rooms.
The hotel hosts events for between two and 1,500 guests across 16 different spaces. At its centre are two large, pillar-free ballrooms. The ground-floor Nine Kings Suite has its own private entrance and foyer, with over 1,000 square metres of floor space that can be divided into four areas using acoustic partitions. An integral staircase connects it to the Westbourne Suite, a versatile room with a multi-zoned audio system and colour-changing ceiling lights.
On the first floor, the Forest Suites offer a collection of contemporary rooms with views across Hyde Park, suitable for smaller ceremonies, dinners, or meetings. The hotel also provides 411 rooms and suites for guests staying overnight. As one of London’s few remaining independently owned hotels, the team has over 50 years of experience. A dedicated team assists with planning all aspects of an event, supported by in-house catering. The venue also provides a private car park and is located next to Lancaster Gate tube station.
