About The Ministry
The Ministry sits on Borough Road in South London, reworking the shell of a Victorian factory into a collection of flexible event spaces that can host all stages of a wedding day from ceremony through to evening celebration. Its ground-floor spaces are licensed for civil ceremonies, and couples can plan their vows, wedding meal and reception without shifting guests between separate locations.
Ceremonies and seated dinners can take place in The White Space, a bright area that opens directly into reception and party zones. For the post-meal part of the day, the bar and adjoining garden area together provide room for later evening entertainment, with a long copper bar, DJ booth and dance floor. The Lounge and the garden offer smaller, adaptable settings for quieter moments or welcome drinks.
Creative suites within the venue give couples and their parties places to prepare or pause during the day. When the formal events are over, the layout allows a natural transition to later celebrations with up to 300 guests across the combined spaces. Transport links on foot from Borough, Southwark and London Bridge stations place the venue within easy reach of central London, with nearby landmarks such as Borough Market and The Shard adding context to its urban setting.
