This beautiful grade II listed working town hall, is now in its 8th decade as one of Hackney’s most sought after ceremony & reception venues. Housing 5 separate ceremony and reception spaces, Hackney Town Hall gives you the opportunity to choose this venue for your ceremony only, or host your whole day under one roof. Its largest space is the original Art-Deco style Assembly Hall. Arriving at it’s private entrance, you are greeted by two stunning curved staircases which lead you to a grand 1st floor foyer, which marks the entrance to the elegant ceremony & reception space. With its original floor to ceiling partitions, the Assembly Hall offers an abundance of flexibility giving you the opportunity to create a smaller more intimate space or use the whole room for a seated dinner of up to 300 friends and family.

After a recent multi-million pound refurbishment the original 1930s building has been brought into the 21st century and now features two brand new state of the art glass roofed atria. These light and airy spaces give you and your guests the sense being outside no matter what the British weather holds. With ceremony space for up to 200 guests, the Atria can be booked individually or with the larger Assembly Hall.

The original wood panelled Council Chamber and Committee Rooms with their imposing grandiose chandeliers are the perfect setting for stand alone ceremonies, but work equally as well when booked with one of the new Atria spaces for your reception dinner.
