About The Oaks
The Oaks in Eltham combines two event spaces with flexible capacity and practical amenities for weddings and receptions. Situated on Starbuck Close in SE9 within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the venue comprises The Oak Hall and The Olive Terrace, each with its own bar, facilities, and outdoor seating areas. The halls can be used separately or together to host larger gatherings, with combined capacity reaching up to around 300 guests.
Couples can choose how their day flows around the two spaces. The Oak Hall holds up to 200 standing or 85 seated, while The Olive Terrace accommodates up to 100 standing or 70 seated; using both halls together allows more guests and activity zones for different parts of the day. Outdoor space and patio gardens extend the usable footprint beyond the indoor rooms.
Onsite parking is available alongside the halls, and the venue team offers a range of packages for different parts of the day, from all-day receptions to twilight celebrations. Cold and hot catering options can be arranged through the venue, or couples may bring in recommended external suppliers. The Oaks operates as a staffed venue with bar services included; only drinks supplied by the venue are permitted and events must conclude within set service times.
