The Coal House at Woodberry Wetlands is a unique Grade II listed venue on a stunning nature reserve, managed by London Wildlife Trust. The venue is licensed for marriage ceremonies, and can accommodate up to 80, or up to 150 with a marquee. ---

Just 10 minutes by tube from Kings Cross, the historic Coal House venue at Woodberry Wetlands makes an idyllic wedding location with its waterside view over 11 hectares of sweeping reeds, wildflower meadows and woodland wildlife habitat.

The Coal House can accommodate up to 50 guests for a seated dinner, up to 70 for a standing reception or dancing event, and up to 80 guests for a seated ceremony.

For higher guest numbers, or for events that require additional space, there is the option to include a temporary marquee structure next to the grade II listed building, to increase capacity up to 150.

The spectacular backdrop and tranquil setting includes a roof terrace; and a lawned garden, a beautiful option outdoor blessings.

The licensed Coal House bar serves a range of beverages, including locally crafted beers; and can offer pre-order and cash-bar options.
The approved suppliers caterers and hand selected to offer a wide range of cuisines and dining styles, in keeping with the ethos of the site.

Hire is available for evenings, after the site and Coal House cafe close to the public; or for full day for a select number of days each year, with exclusive hire of the west side of the reserve.

Newly re-opened in 2016 by Sir Richard Attenborough, after 180 years of closure to the public; this urban wetland oasis rich in wildlife is still relatively unknown, and sure to surprise you guests. A truly unique wedding venue, and a natural hidden gem.
