About The Adelphi Hotel
We are a civil ceremony licensed wedding hotel venue in Liverpool city centre. We offer multiple packages that can can be personalized for each couple. Offering an all day wedding package from ceremony through to reception, or a wedding breakfast through to reception and a reception only package. Our venue has multiple Wedding suites and ample guest accommodation. We offer a complimentary Bridal suite with all of our packages and lots of upgrade options available to personalize your package.
The Adelphi Hotel is a beautiful and lavish Edwardian style venue, steeped in history and ideally located in the heart of Liverpool. Our hotel tastefully combines unique style and charm that perfectly reflects the grandeur and opulence of the buildings stunning exterior. Our stunning collection of function suites are the perfect setting for a ceremony, reception drinks, wedding breakfast and evening reception celebrations with their grand architecture and vintage features.
Whether you are planning an extravagant affair or intimate occasion, you will be looked after with care and attention by our team. Choose from our portfolio of wedding packages, which can be adapted and personalized to suit your individual requirements, or ask us to create a bespoke wedding which would be tailor made just for you.
Our many beautiful suites are the perfect spaces for you to create your dream vision. Whether that is in our Banqueting Hall, which lined with the most stunning chandeliers, that can hold up to 650 guests, or one of our more intimate spaces such as The Sefton Suite which is a replica of the original Titanic smoking room and boasts beautiful tall windows and deep oak wood features.
Other amenities of our Hotel include our three classic Bridal suites with lounge areas perfect for the morning of your wedding for any suppliers that need to set up such as Hair and Make up. We also have our 'American Bar' a late night cocktail bar that stays open exclusively for hotel guests so the party can carry on after last orders are called. Our restaurant "Jenny's" offers breakfast and dinner options for guests staying the night before and the night of the occasion and we can provide upgrade package options to include private rehearsal dinners, afternoon tea celebrations and VIP Bridal party breakfasts.

Yes in various Suites, depending on the size of your ceremony
We offer self catering packages but the food must be cooked before you arrive. We can only offer facilities to heat up and keep food warm, external chefs are not allowed in our kitchens.
This will depend on whether there is a function or event happening the night before so we will be able to discuss that nearer the time but we do allow you to drop off any bits of decor in the few days leading up to your Wedding and we can store it for you.
The bars will close and any music must finish by 1am. But for guests staying in our hotel our American Bar in the main foyer will remain open.
No, we do not have a limiter but we do say that all live music must be finished by 1am.
We can discuss the option of indoor sparklers or "First dance" fountains.
Yes Confetti is allowed on the premises
We prefer electric / battery operated candles where possible to avoid any issues with the wax but candles can be used if discussed.

Our Sustainability Commitments
'Historic Buildings are inherently sustainable' We have been operating as a purpose built hotel for nearly 110 years. We ensure we have the maximum use of a lifespan of a material and reduce waste. Historic buildings have been designed to be inspiring with a striking architecture, that does not fade and is still popular to majority of peoples tastes. We run a green policy in house and ensure our practises are environmentally sustainable. We raise awareness in meetings and with staff on recycling to going paperless. We operate a switch off policy and we are in the process of changing products to be eco friendly where possible. Our kitchens are making changes with local produce and mindful all round on what we can do moving forward. We have a nominated Sustainability Coordinator which ethos is to elevate this further on a monthly and yearly basis,
