About The Adelphi Hotel
The Adelphi Hotel brings a long-established Edwardian style setting to weddings in the heart of Liverpool city centre. The Grade II listed building’s period architecture forms the backdrop for ceremonies and receptions, with a range of function suites that can be configured to suit both larger and more intimate gatherings.
Civil wedding ceremonies and partnerships can be held on site, with licence to hold up to 650 guests across the available spaces. Wedding days at the hotel can include your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening reception all under one roof, with menus prepared by the hotel’s in-house kitchen. Bedrooms throughout the hotel allow couples and their guests to stay on site, with preferential rates often arranged for those attending weddings. The hotel’s location in central Liverpool places it close to local landmarks and transport links, making arrival straightforward for guests travelling from further afield. Getting married at The Adelphi Hotel costs between £2,499 and £4,999 plus VAT.
We offer exclusivity of the Suite and surrounding areas, including your own bar area for your wedding day.
We are licensed for civil ceremonies in various suites, depending on the size of your ceremony.
All our wedding ceremonies take place indoors in one of our suites.
We recommend getting in touch with one of the member of the team to ask about the corkage prices.
We offer self catering packages but the food must be cooked before you arrive. We can only offer facilities to heat up and keep food warm, external chefs are not allowed in our kitchens.
This will depend on whether there is a function or event happening the night before so we will be able to discuss that nearer the time but we do allow you to drop off any bits of decor in the few days leading up to your wedding and we can store it for you.
The wedding reception with the bars will close by midnight and any music must finish by 1am. But for wedding guests staying in our hotel our American Bar in the main foyer will remain open.
No, we do not have a limit on the live wedding band but we do say that all live wedding music must be finished by 1am.
We can discuss the option of indoor sparklers or "First dance" fountains.

We prefer electric / battery operated candles where possible to avoid any issues with the wax but candles can be used if discussed.
