Nestled in the picturesque Monmouthshire countryside, Caldicot Castle offers a majestic setting for your dream wedding. With a rich history dating back to the 11th century, this medieval fortress provides an enchanting ambience. The castle's grand halls and intimate rooms offer versatility for your wishes. Exchange vows in the majestic Great Hall or celebrate under the stars in the courtyard. The team will ensure your wedding unfolds seamlessly, creating unforgettable memories.
The castle offers several spaces for civil ceremonies and receptions. The Courtyard can hold up to 280 guests with a marquee, tipi, or yurt, and includes a covered area licensed for ceremonies. For more contained gatherings, the Gatehouse Banqueting Hall seats up to 70 guests for a wedding breakfast. The Solar Room is available for intimate ceremonies of up to 20 people, and the stone-walled Guards Room can also be used for celebrations.
A dedicated team works with couples to plan their event. The venue offers flexibility, allowing clients to choose their own registered caterers who are given use of an on-site catering kitchen. Biodegradable confetti is permitted within the grounds. Located near the M4 motorway, the castle has on-site car parking for guests.
