The founding place of the Welsh Rugby Union, The Castle Hotel has a long and notable history. Today, this family-owned hotel is licensed to hold civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies and guarantees that each couple will be the only wedding held on their chosen day. Events take place in the Abbey Suite, a self-contained space with its own private bar, lounge area, and dance floor. It holds up to 130 for a ceremony, 120 for a seated wedding breakfast, and 180 for reception.
A professional wedding coordinator assists with planning, and couples receive a complimentary executive bedroom for their wedding night. Preferential accommodation rates are also available for guests, with 30 en-suite bedrooms on site. For photographs, there is a landscaped garden available.
