Our venue has an outstanding reputation for providing the perfect wedding experience. With our traditional surroundings, great food and impeccable service, it is no wonder that this venue has been the choice of lots of couples for many years.

Formerly a coaching inn dating back 400 years, our venue has been restored to all its glory in recent years and is able to offer you modern luxury that is set within a classic location.

The hotel has a Civil Ceremony License for 2 function suites.

The Pickwick Suite

The Pickwick Suite has been tastfully redecorated recently in neutral warming shades, the arched high ceilings of the Pickwick Suite have beautiful chandeliers created from the original bell wheels of a local church. This beautiful room will providethe perfect setting for a ceremony and wedidng breakfast for up to 75 guests, whilst allowing for 120 guests to join you in the evening to continue with your celebrations.

The Oak Room

The Oak Room is a beauftifuk neautral coloured room with a large open fire place, provdiing the perfect backdrop for small intimate ceremony of up to 20 guests. This room lends itself well to The Pickwck Suite that you could invite after the ceremony to enjoy your special day with you.

Upstairs you can find 21 lovely decorated and comfortable bedrooms that are all en-suite, many of which still feature original oak beams. There are also two romantic premier feature rooms available for you to book on your special day.
