Charlton Hall is set within a private 150-acre estate, with stunning views across the Northumberland countryside towards the coast. Weddings at Charlton Hall are exclusive, entirely bespoke, and free from the constraints of packages. The hall itself offers accommodation for up to 14 guests, while our eight luxurious lakeside cabins and The Tempus Hotel, just a stone’s throw away, provide additional options for friends and family, making the estate perfect for hosting everyone in comfort.

The interiors, designed by award-winning Jeffreys Interiors of Edinburgh, are a vibrant mix of colour and character. Bold fabrics, striking artworks, antiques, statement light installations, and feature walls from design houses such as Mulberry, House of Hackney, Pierre Frey, and Matthew Williamson create a unique and inspiring backdrop for your celebration.

The hall includes a library, dining room, bar, underground vaults, and a magnificent glass function room, accommodating up to 140 evening guests and 120 day guests. The art-deco ceremony hall, originally an 18th-century stable barn, has been beautifully transformed into an enchanting space to say your vows beneath fairy lights and traditional oak beams.

For outdoor ceremonies, the grounds offer uninterrupted views across the estate towards the coast. Ceremony locations include the lakeside, the lawn, or our signature “Isle of I Do”, providing a truly magical setting to exchange your vows.
