About Colwick Hall
Set within a Grade II listed Palladian mansion beside Colwick Park’s lake, Colwick Hall Hotel brings together period architecture, parkland views and on-site accommodation a short distance from Nottingham city centre. Ceremonies take place in licensed rooms within the Hall, with options that include the Byron Suite and the Lakeside Pavilion.
The Byron Suite seats up to 200 guests for a civil ceremony and up to 180 for a wedding breakfast, while the Pavilion offers a light-filled setting overlooking the lake, seating up to 120 for the ceremony and 100 for dining. For larger celebrations, the Grand Ballroom seats up to 500 guests for a ceremony and up to 350 for a wedding breakfast, with space for up to 500 in the evening. Couples have exclusive use of the wedding suite on the night of the wedding, and the hotel offers 16 individually styled bedrooms, including feature four-poster rooms and lake views. All bedrooms are en-suite, allowing guests to stay on site.
Wedding packages are structured to guide the day from ceremony through to evening reception, with dedicated coordination from the planning stages to the day itself. Catering is prepared in-house, with set packages and the option to tailor menus to suit individual preferences.
With formal interiors, high ceilings, original period detailing and views across the surrounding parkland, the setting shapes the flow of the day — from arrival on the sweeping driveway to photographs by the water and celebrations that continue late into the evening.
